Laboratories

The laboratory does such kinds of researches as:

1. Hematologicstudies:

• Clinical blood analysis (hemoglobulin, erythrocytes, leucocytes, blood sedimentation rate, blood cell morphology differentials), thrombocytes, reticulocytes, blood coagulation, researches on malaria parasite.

2. Clinical studies:

• Urine analysis (рН, relative density, protide, glucose, ketones, urobilin, cholechrome, urine micro precipitation);
• Calculation of urine formed elements according to Nechyporenko.

3. Parasitologic studies:

• Disclosure of helminths, their eggs and larvae in dung;
• Analysis of feces for the simplest and opportunistic infections;
• Eyelashes’ determination to acarians Demodex;
• Tests of scrape from conjunctiva of the eye to bacterium, chlamydia and phungi;
• Analysis of surgical material about Dirofilaria.

4. Biochemicalbloodcounts:

• Liver test: total protein, bilirubin, general and direct, aminotransferases, thymol;
• Renal tests: urea, creatinine, uric acid;
• Lipid profile with risk assessment of atherogenesis and risk of ischemic events;
• Researches in carbohydrate metabolism: glucose, glycated hemoglobin, glucose loading;
• Coagulogram: duration of hemorrhage by Duke, time determination of haemopexis according to Suharev’s method, prothrombin time, activated partial thrombin time, fibrinogen, prothrombin index computation and international normalization ratio;
• Protein fractions.

5. Immunology researches:

• Estimation of AB0 blood group (monoclonal reagent test);
• Rh factor (anti D);
• Antistreptolysin – О;
• Rheumatoid factor;
• C-reactive protein;
• MPR – Micropropitation reaction in instant diagnosis of lues.

All researches are done on modern equipment, which corresponds to current requirements.
