The Filatov Institute today

The organizational and methodological activity of the Institute has a fairly wide range of work and consists in the implementation of scientific and educational activities, in methodological and practical assistance to regional ophthalmic institutions, in the planning of the activities of divisions and the Institute as a whole, the introduction of modern orders, standards, clinical recommendations for the activities of the Institute.

• Organization of away and curatorial work with regional ophthalmic institutions of Ukraine;
• Monitoring of ophthalmic care to adults and children of Ukraine;
• Organization of internships to improve professional knowledge and skills of ophthalmologists;
• Organization of current and prospective planning of the work of subdivisions and the Institute as a whole;
• Planning, monitoring and reporting on the implementation of results of scientific research in ophthalmology into practice;
• Preparation of materials for management decisions (draft orders, orders, newsletters, work plans, network schedules);
• Development, editing and publication of guidelines, manuals for doctors, as well as materials of conferences and congresses;
• Participation in the preparation and holding of scientific and practical conferences, meetings, thematic exhibitions and round tables, work with the media;
• Informing employees of instructional and methodological materials (letters, orders, legislative and regulatory acts, methodological recommendations) on their receipt rate.
