Clinical activity of the Filatov Institute
The polyclinic of the Filatov Institute is an ophthalmic center in which all types of diagnostics and treatment of eye diseases are carried out using innovative technologies..
Clinical base of the Filatov Institute — 8 specialized departments.
There are 11 specialized scientific experimental laboratories for the comprehensive examination of patients with a wide range of eye problems, which allow solving the most difficult tasks and giving recommendations for the most effective treatment.
Between 2010 and 2021 almost 200 thousand patients were treated at the Institute. Over a year, ophthalmology surgeons operate more than 15,000 patients. More than 16,000 patients visit the consultative polyclinic every year.
There are 4 national centers, on the basis of the Institute, that cover the most common ophthalmic pathologies:
1. Ukrainian Ophthalmotraumatological Center;
2. Center for Pediatric Ophthalmopathology;
3. Center for Ophthalmooncology;
4. Eye Burn Center.
During the last year the centers provided medical, diagnostic, consultative and methodological aid to thousands of patients with serious diseases. Since the initial examination in the consultative polyclinic and throughout the treatment (inpatient or outpatient), patients are under the supervision of highly qualified specialists, whose experience, responsibility and reputation attract tens of thousands of patients to the polyclinic of the Institute annually.
