Organizational and Methodological Department
Main tasks of the department are:
- organizational, methodological and practical assistance to ophthalmologic institutions of Ukraine’s regions;
- realization ofevents provided by plans of organizational and methodical work;
- planningand activity analysis of Institute’s departments and the Institute itself;
- introducing up-to-date procedures, standards, clinic protocols and clinical recommendation into work of Institute’s departments;
- providing methodological guidance on organization of work of Institute’s departments.
Organizational and methodic department, according to assigned duties, has such functions:
- organizing away and curatorial work with ophthalmological institutions of Ukraine’s regions;
- monitoring of providing ophthalmological help to child and adult population of Ukraine;
- organization of stages for improvement of professional knowledge and skills of ophthalmologists;
- organizingcurrent and forward planning of work of departments and the Institution itself;
- planning, controland reporting due to the introduction of research findings into ophthalmic practice
- preparingmaterials for executive decision-making (draft orders, instructions, informational letters, route plans, project networks);
- designing, editing and publishing methodologicalrecommendations, guidance for physicians as well as materials of conferences and congresses;
- participationin preparation and holding Research-to-Practice Conferences, meetings, thematic exhibitions and round tables, work with media;
- informing staff with instructive and methodological materials (letters, orders,legislative and regulatory acts, methodological recommendations) once available.
