World Science Day for Peace and Development
Every year on November 10, the world marks World Science Day for Peace and Development. UNESCO established this day to highlight the importance of science in creating a safer and more harmonious world.
💡 Science is a bridge between knowledge and humanity. Scientific research helps us find new ways to preserve health, save lives, and protect the vision of millions of people.
👁 At the SI "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the NAMS of Ukraine," science is an important part of daily work. The Institute combines the traditions of the outstanding scientist Volodymyr Petrovych Filatov with modern ophthalmology research, including cell-based technologies and high-precision laser treatment.
🔬 Thanks to the dedication of the Institute's scientists, Ukrainian ophthalmology is becoming part of the global scientific community. It contributes to the development of medicine, peace, and social well-being.
💙 Every day, the Institute's scientists, physicians, and young researchers work to restore vision, reduce suffering, and help people see the world and their loved ones. Their work represents science with a human face. It combines advanced technologies with compassion and care for patients.
✨ May science continue to serve peaceful progress, humanity, and human health!
