This video features Professor Nadiia Ulianova, Doctor of Medical Sciences, presenting the activities of the Department of Post-Traumatic Ocular Pathology, Glaucoma, and Lens Disorders at the Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy.

The video highlights the main areas of the department’s activity, including the provision of specialized care for patients with ocular injuries, various forms of glaucoma, and cataracts. Special attention is given to modern surgical approaches, ranging from standard procedures to complex reconstructive and combined surgeries on both the anterior and posterior segments of the eye.

The possibilities of performing combined surgical interventions in cases of coexisting pathology (cataract, glaucoma, and post-traumatic conditions) are also discussed, along with the organization of 24/7 emergency care within the Ukrainian Ophthalmotraumatology Center.
