Scientific Work of the Filatov Institute: Historical and Ethnocultural Aspects
The head of the scientific library of the Filatov Institute, Dmytro Gorshkov, presented a report “Scientific Work of the Filatov Institute: Historical and Ethnocultural Aspects.”
From August 22-24, 2024, Dmytro Gorshkov, head of the scientific library of SI "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine", participated in the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference with international participation “Ethno-cultural Diversity of Ukraine: National Unity and European Integration Progress.” The conference was held at the Odesa National Scientific Library, Odesa, Ukraine.
In his report, Dmytro Gorshkov highlighted the ethnocultural diversity of Institute’s scientific staff, which has been characteristic throughout its history. He also emphasized that SI "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" proudly represents and promotes Ukrainian ophthalmological science at the European and global levels. The report generated lively interest among the conference participants.
The conference was organized by the following organizations: the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine; the State Archival Service of Ukraine; Odesa National Scientific Library; the Department of Culture, Nationalities, Religions, and Protection of Cultural Heritage Objects of the Odesa Regional State Administration; the Odesa Regional Center of Ukrainian Culture; the Odesa Branch of the National Union of Local Lore of Ukraine.
