DMedSc and Senior Researcher of SI "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine", Oleh Zadorozhnyi, spoke to Interfax-Ukraine about the scientific research being conducted at the Institute even under the conditions of war.

Despite all challenges, the Institute's team not only continues fundamental and applied research but also actively participates in global international projects, developing innovative methods for diagnosing and treating eye diseases. Among these efforts are early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy using artificial intelligence, treatment of retinoblastoma in children, and the implementation of new thermoelectric equipment in ophthalmology.
