On January 19, 2026, a meeting of the Young Scientists Council was held at the SI “V.P. Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy, NAMS of Ukraine
On 19 January 2026, the Filatov Institute’s Council of Young Scientists held its regular meeting, dedicated to current issues concerning the development of young researchers’ scientific activities.
The following topics were discussed during the meeting:
🔹 “Strategy for the Research Activities of the Institute’s Young Scientists: Priorities and Challenges”
The main scientific directions of the Institute for the coming years were discussed, as well as the role of young researchers in the implementation of scientific programs and research projects.

🔹 “Research Study Design: From Idea to Publication”
Issues related to the formulation of a research question and hypothesis were considered, along with common mistakes encountered during the planning stage of scientific studies.
Speaker: Yevgeniy Andriyovych Chumakov.
The meeting of the Young Scientists Council was attended by Oleh S. Zadorozhnyi, Deputy Director for Research, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Senior Researcher.
The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and facilitated active discussion of strategic and practical aspects of the scientific activities of the Institute’s young researchers.
