Marathon “Current Issues of Eye Trauma”
On the third day of the conference “Filatov Memorial Lectures 2024”, a marathon focused on eye traumas of various types and their treatment methods took place. The following important topics were discussed and demonstrated: “Proper Suturing Techniques for Corneal Wounds” by Ferenc Kún (Pécs, Hungary).
“Results of Corneal Transplantation in Combined Combat Eye Surgery” by O.S. Sidak-Petretska, G.I. Drozhzhyna, O.V. Ponomarchuk, N.P. Tychyna and N.A. Ulyanova (Odesa, Ukraine). “Specifics of Vitreoretinal Interventions Based on Patient Hospitalization Time and Trauma Occurrence” by M. Havura (Dnipro, Ukraine). “Combination of Vitrectomy with Extra-Scleral Buckling in the Treatment of Retinal Detachment Due to Eye Trauma” by O.S. Sidak-Petretska, N.A. Ulyanova and N.I. Bondar (Odesa, Ukraine). “Tips and Advice for Severe Trauma” by Carlos Mateo (Barcelona, Spain). All presentations were accompanied by high-quality video materials.
