Filatov Institute to Host Advanced Course on Intravitreal and Subtenon Therapy for Retinal Diseases
The The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine invites ophthalmologists to take part in an advanced training course titled “Intravitreal and Subtenon Therapy of Retinal and Choroidal Diseases,” which will be held on March 18–20, 2026, in Odesa. The course program combines up-to-date theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and clinical experience in the treatment of retinal and uvea disorders.

Course Director:
⚕️ Professor Andrii Rostyslavovych Korol — Head of the Department for the Study of Biological Effects and Application of Lasers in Ophthalmology.
Participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with modern approaches to intravitreal and subtenon therapy, indications for administering medications, injection techniques, and prevention of possible complications.
The program includes:

The training will cover modern medicaments for intravitreal injection, including vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitors and long-acting formulations, as well as the clinical aspects of the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, central retinal vessel thrombosis, diabetic retinopathy, and other ocular pathologies.
