Today, staff members of the V. P. Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the NAMS of Ukraine were honoured with prestigious awards.

Oksana Stepanivna Sidak-Petretska, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Head of the Department of Restorative and Reconstructive Microsurgery of Post-Traumatic Eye Pathology was awarded the Minister of Defence of Ukraine’s Distinction ‘For Contribution to Defence’ — for her significant contribution to and support of Ukraine’s defence.

Oleksandr Valeryovych Ponomarchuk, Candidate of Medical Sciences, received an official expression of gratitude for his many years of dedicated service, professionalism, commitment to patients, and significant contribution to preserving people’s health.

These honours are not only a well-deserved recognition of specific individuals, but also a testament to the high professional standards, sense of responsibility and dedication to their work demonstrated by the staff of the Filatov Institute.
