The SI “V.P. Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the NAMS of Ukraine” and the Charitable Organisation “Superhumans” Charitable Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership.

The Memorandum was signed by Levon Nikoghosyan, Acting Director of the Filatov Institute, and Raisa Fuchydzhy, Director of the Medical Center of the Superhumans Charitable Foundation in Odesa.

The aim of the partnership is to join forces to advance modern ophthalmology, improve the quality of medical care and support important social and humanitarian initiatives.

Key Areas of Cooperation

Under the Memorandum, the parties plan to develop cooperation in several important areas:

• supporting the development and modernisation of the Filatov Institute’s material, technical, and medical infrastructure;
• implementing social projects aimed at assisting patients who require special attention and support, including military personnel, veterans, internally displaced persons, children, and people with disabilities;
• organising joint scientific, educational, and professional events;
• preparing and disseminating informational and educational materials on eye health and the prevention of eye diseases;
•  the development of a barrier-free and accessible healthcare environment;
• the exchange of experience and professional information.

An important area of the partnership will be supporting modern ophthalmological care and patient rehabilitation, as well as creating a more accessible and comfortable environment in healthcare facilities.

The cooperation between the Filatov Institute and the Superhumans Charitable Foundation opens up opportunities for implementing joint initiatives, combining professional expertise and resources, and further developing high-quality and accessible ophthalmological care.
