Dialogue Shaping Practice: Meeting of the Council of Young Scientists
On February 23, a meeting of the Council of Young Scientists of the Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was held.
As part of the scientific program, the following current issues in modern ophthalmology were presented and discussed:
🔹 A.A. Pieshkova — a report on childhood squint, focusing on modern diagnostic approaches, clinical assessment criteria, and differential diagnosis.
🔹 O.O. Artamonov — a report titled “Retinopathy of Prematurity: General Aspects and Classification,” which systematized approaches to screening, staging, and clinical monitoring of at-risk groups.
🔹 M.Yu. Chaban — a report titled “Myopia and its Management,” dedicated to current strategies for controlling myopia progression, evidence-based therapeutic methods, and practical aspects of patient management.
The discussion was lively and held at a high professional level. Participants actively engaged in discussing clinical cases, exchanging experience, and developing a shared understanding of current challenges in pediatric and general ophthalmology.
The Council of Young Scientists continues to provide a platform for professional development, scientific communication, and the implementation of modern standards in clinical practice.
