Illya Olegivych Nasinnyk, Cand. of Med. Sc., Senior Researcher, ophthalmologist of the highest category, Head of the Division of Laser Microsurgery of Eye Disease, that is on the basis of the Department of Studying Biological Action and Application of Lasers in Ophthalmology, SI "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine", has received the President of Ukraine's Award "For the Defense of Ukraine" along with a diploma of honor.

🔹 The President’s Award “For the Defense of Ukraine” was established to honor service members, law enforcement officers, volunteers, government officials, employees of enterprises and institutions, and volunteers who contribute to strengthening the defense and security of our country.

Illya Nasinnyk is a renowned ophthalmic surgeon who has spent many years treating complex eye conditions using cutting-edge laser technologies. His professional focus is on implementing advanced laser microsurgery techniques to preserve and restore vision in patients with the most challenging pathologies.

🔹 Under martial law, Illya Nasinnyk has also actively participated in volunteer efforts, providing assistance to defenders and those affected by the war.
