On November 19, 2025, SI “ the Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the NAMS of Ukraine and the NGO “Modern Vision” officially started a partnership by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation.

This is an important step aimed at:

• creating conditions for effective rehabilitation of veterans with visual impairments and civilians affected by the war;
• increasing awareness of the prevention of ophthalmic diseases;
• promoting knowledge about vision preservation and eye care.

The first training session has already taken place. The President of the NGO, Olesia Perepechenko, held a meaningful and motivating session for the Institute staff, third-level higher education students, young doctors, and interns.

Further trainings, joint initiatives, and stronger support for our defenders and all people who need high-quality ophthalmic care are planned.
