📅 On August 22–23, 2025, representatives of the State Institution "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy" took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation titled “Institutions of National Memory and Global Partnership in Preserving Cultural Heritage:”

🔹 Dmytro Volodymyrovych Horshkov – Master of History, Research Fellow, Head of the Scientific Library

🔹 Oleh Serhiiovych Zadorozhnyi – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Biological Effects and Laser Applications in Ophthalmology

🎓 They presented a report titled “The Fourth Generation of Filatovites: Continuity of Traditions and Achievements of the V.P. Filatov Institute,” which:

✔️ Demonstrated the generational continuity of scientific work at the Institute

✔️ Highlighted the role of current leadership and the accomplishments of young researchers

✔️ Proved that despite historical crises and the modern challenges of war, the V.P. Filatov Institute has preserved the strength of its scientific school, integrating clinical practice, research, education, and international cooperation

🔍 The presentation sparked lively interest among the academic community and conference attendees.

📍 The event was hosted at the Odesa National Scientific Library with the participation of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, the State Archival Service of Ukraine, I.I. Mechnikov Odesa National University, and other partners.
