The SI  “V. P. Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine,” in cooperation with the NGO “Ukrainian Society of Ophthalmologists,” invites physicians to participate in advanced professional training through an internship program in:
“Diagnosis and Treatment of Neoplasms of the Eye, Its Adnexa, and Orbit.”

Dates: March 9–20, 2026
Program Director: Professor A. P. Maletskyi

The internship program covers key and practice-oriented topics, including:

•  pathomorphology of the cells of the eye and its adnexa;
• eyelid skin tumors: diagnosis and treatment;
• pathology of the lacrimal drainage system;
• tumors of the conjunctiva of the eyelids and eye;
• clinical features, diagnosis, and treatment of intraocular neoplasms;
• application of electric welding of biological tissues in ophthalmic oncology;
• reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, orbit, and periorbital area;
•  the role of adjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of malignant orbital tumors.

Upon completion of the training, participants receive a certificate of advanced professional development in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
