OFTACAFÉ RETINA 2025: Ukrainian Ophthalmology on the International Stage
On October 18, 2025, the OFTACAFÉ RETINA 2025 symposium took place in Lugano, Switzerland. The event brought together leading specialists in retinal diseases from around the world.
With the participation of internationally recognised experts and opinion leaders, the symposium became an excellent platform for professional development and experience exchange.
Despite the high level of the speakers, the event encouraged direct and informal communication. It continued the best traditions of the Oftacafé format.
Among the participants were ophthalmologists from the SI "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the NAMS of Ukraine." They presented their innovative scientific developments on the international stage.

Professor Umanets also participated in the video competition and presented the film "Complex Tumor Surgery."
