On October 31, the dissertation defense of Tarak Aloui, a candidate for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences, took place.

The topic of the dissertation was: "Differential Diagnosis of Forms of Divergent Comitant Strabismus in Children to Determine Treatment Strategies."

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Tunisia, Volodymyr Anatoliiovych Khomanets. He congratulated the researcher and emphasised the importance of international scientific cooperation and the development of medical science.

Following the discussion, the dissertation was positively evaluated by the members of the specialized academic council.
