Filatov Institute: Barrier-Free Ophthalmic Care for Everyone

Every year on December 3, the world observes the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. It is a United Nations initiative that promotes respect, dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunities for every individual. The day serves as an important reminder that access to quality healthcare should be the standard, not the exception.

At the Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the NAMS of Ukraine, we work every day to ensure that ophthalmic care is safe, high-quality, and accessible to all patients, regardless of their physical abilities.

Our specialists provide highly specialised ophthalmic services for people with various disabilities. We combine an individualised approach with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies. We also ensure a comfortable, inclusive, and barrier-free clinical environment.

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities highlights the importance of joint efforts by governments, healthcare institutions, civil society organizations, and communities. Together, they create a society where every person can realize their full potential and enjoy equal access to healthcare services.

The Filatov Institute continues to move in this direction every day.
