On 19 June 2026, a scientific and practical masterclass entitled ‘Diagnosis and Treatment of Tumours of the Eye’ will take place, organised by the NGO ‘Society of Ophthalmologists of Ukraine’ in collaboration with the SI ‘V.P. Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the NAMS of Ukraine’.

The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both remote and in-person participation of healthcare professionals.

Date and time: June 19, 2026, 4:00 PM–7:00 PM

Venue: OK Odesa Hotel, 5 Arkadiiske Plato Street, Odesa, Ukraine.

The masterclass is dedicated to contemporary approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant neoplasms of the organ of vision. Participants will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with current clinical recommendations, the specifics of instrumental diagnostics, and patient management strategies for ocular and adnexal tumors.

The event programme includes:

Theoretical session

Diagnosis and Treatment of Intraocular Neoplasms — A.P. Maletskyi;

Diagnosis and Treatment of Orbital Tumors — S.I. Polyakova;

Diagnosis and Treatment of Malignant Neoplasms of the Eyelids and Conjunctiva — I.O. Safronenkova.

Practical and Interactive Session

analysis of clinical cases;

interpretation of OCT, ultrasound, CT, and MRI results;

discussion of current approaches to treatment and patient management.

Upon completion of the educational programme, participants will undertake a final test (10 questions).  Successful completion requires at least 6 correct answers.

Target Audience: Ophthalmologists, pediatric ophthalmologists, oncologic surgeons, plastic surgeons, general practitioners/family physicians, laboratory diagnostics specialists, public health specialists, medical statisticians, and other healthcare professionals.

successfully pass the final test.

CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE ISSUED TO PARTICIPANTS WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED ON THE PLATFORM AND HAVE NOT PASSED THE FINAL TEST.
