First visit and hospitalization

Initial appointment:

The front desk of the Consultative Polyclinic is the first point for patients being referred to the Filatov Institute for the first time

Please bring the following with you to your appointment:

Adults:

  • passport;
  • a document certifying the right to privileges (disabled persons, WWII participants, participants of the Chernobyl disaster relief);
  • directions (if any);

Child:

  • Passport of a parent
  • Certificate of birth
  • Benefits documents (lifelong disabled person, large family)

At the front-desk a patient is given an Appointment Card and referred to the pre examination. The Appointment Cards are deposited in the archives for 5 years from the date of the lastvisit. Having the results of pre examination the patient is referred to specialists who make a decision due to additional tests and examinations. Depending on the diagnosis the patientis either assigned to outpatient treatment or hospitalized. 

Tests required for hospitalization:

  • general blood test ;
  • blood glucose test;
  • bloodplatelet test,coagulation analysis;
  • urine analysis;
  • feces analysis for helminth eggs;
  • feces analysis for helminth eggs (for accompany);
  • intestinal culture test (children up to 3);
  • HBS-antigen (blood test);
  • RW ( blood test);
  • RW (for accompany);
  • certificate of epidemiological environment (issued by primary care physician or pediatrician, valid for 3 days)
  • polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is necessary for people with immunosuppression;
  • for other groups EIA IgM.
